Product options with unique SKU

Hello!

I have a product (Shoes) and he has the black and red options.
When buying Shoes + Black SKU is different from either Red Shoes +

ex: Shoes -> SKU = NIK
Red-> SKU = 001
Black-> SKU = 002

If I buy the shoes + red-> SKU = NIK001
if I buy the shoes + black> SKU = NIK002

this is the correct way of working with product options.

can implement this fix?


ps: Is there any documentation for me to develop modules or plugins to the eShop?

Currently, we only support SKU for product, we doesn't support sub-sku per option. I will considering and thinking more about this.
Regarding another your questions, modules, plugins for EShop are standard modules, plugins in Joomla so they are very easy to develop more. You can based on some built-in modules, plugins to develop more if you would like.

The logic of building product is the SKU (is something unique) must be unique in options also. What you have to do is to decide a relationship with the Father product

follow the link to the magento you see a certain logic and deploy it to the E-shop.

I just wanted to say that I think this plugin is fantastic and I am using it on a small shop (< 18 items) but for a larger ecommerce sit that I'm building I am using Magento because I can't autogenerate SKUs like in Magento.

That's too bad because this is a great ecommerce shop but very limited.

Yes, thank you for the post - that's why I echoed your issue because I also saw a clear need. Simple SKU creation from a base SKU + customer chosen attributes would be a great feature here.

That would be fantastic. I'd pay for a plugin that auto-generates SKUs. Magento is a good ecommerce script but it's slow and terribly complicated for the client. This one is so much easier to explain. I'll hope for the best before I have to go the Magento route with the other ecommerce site I'm building. :silly:

I am sorry for delaying in release this feature. I have been working on it but had some problems because it is a bid hard to implement. I have been thinking about an alternative solution and maybe I will implement this solution first. The solution is related to unique SKU per option. I will let you guys now once I have updates.

Make the same magento.

The options are products that are "called" into another protudo.
So it is not so hard and you can already create product types.

remember that each option has its unique stock too.

As I mentioned on previous posts, I added the SKU for each option value per product and added it to 1.2.9 version. The combination between options has been still not ready yet.
