I have a similar issue to others in the forum on payment portals... When a registrant pays through my site with PayPal, their money is accepted but they are not showing up in the registrants list NOR are they receiving confirmation emails. When I actually open up the database, they are listed in there but the "published" value is "0" and there is no payment date set? Any help?
I had an event in February and all registrants processed just fine... No known reason for it suddently to no work any more...

Hi
It might be something happened to your hosting account - for some reasons, all IPN posts from Paypal to notify our system about the payment cannot reach our host (It happened to my site last months and I had to move my site to a new hosting account), just guess !
Anyway, please submit a support ticket contains administrator account and FTP account of your site so that I can check to see what's the problem !

I had the server admin check the error logs and supplied him with the paypal code. He says no errors are recorded on the server logs and the proper functions are enabled on the server. He suggested I check the Callback URL but that's not an option and I didn't have to set that last time. Moving my whole site just to get a component working isn't an option. I may have to stop using this if the electronic payments can't work. I have a pending event I can't send an announcement on because the payment feature isn't working.

As I said, I just guess the reason and it might be incorrect . So in this case, please submit a support ticket so that I can check the issue directly on your site !

I have created a service ticket on this and it shows "Pending Resolution" for 12-14 hours. I'm sure it takes longer to get a response.

I heard many people got great support with Events Booking. I installed and the first event went fine. Now that I've added my second event the whole system is scrambled. I spent all weekend going around with the server support and got my whole site moved to a new server thinking it was their fault. NOPE! The script, I discovered, worked sporadically! Sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn't. It's not the server, it's the script.
I uninstalled and reinstalled/reconfigured Events Booking and guess what? STILL DOESN'T WORK. Now I've wasted my whole weekend screwing with this and at the end of it all nothing works. I have to spend MORE money and time to purchase and install a different events registration component and get my users used to a totally new way to register.
I know a lot of people claim to have gotten great support from the admins... I got absolutely zero help. I got a response saying to create a support ticket...which I did... three days later there has been no response. What a waste of a weekend.

I just went to your site to check and fixed the issue (I had to modify few lines of code in the file os_paypal.php under components/com_eventbooking/payments folder). So if you move your site to a live server, please remember to copy the file to new server, too) .
I am really sorry for lately response on this ticket . As I said, I had to spend fulltime this weekend to work for a client and didn't have a chance to check the ticket.
Anyway, It is working fine now, so hope you will continue using my extension. If you have any other questions, issues, I will make sure that I repy much faster.
