Hi, I am looking for a way to assist our check-in desk. We need to know the total number of sold tickets and also know the number of people present in the venue.
Currently there is the registrant list, but it displays a line with the amount of tickets for the registrant. The total below has the number of lines, not the number of tickets. It is also not easy to count the number of checked-in people.

Any ideas?

We do not have these information displayed at the moment. I do not know how that would help with the check-in. Could you please explain more details ?

Hi Tuan,
I realise it is a special use case.
We have a team at our events responsible for check-in and handling finance (cash and card payments at the desk). That team is also responsible for payment of the venue and artists. The venue wants a certain amount for each person entering the venue. For some artists we have an agreement that they are payed a certain amount for each sold ticket.

Also, there are fire regulations limiting the number of persons, requiring us the state the amount of people inside.

Currently we get the information from the back end by exporting the registrant list & counting tickets and checked-ins. This is quite time consuming to set up, a person from the finance team has to have back end access and knowledge how to handle the export spreadsheet (we also need a laptop, only for this purpose).

So, I was wondering if there is an easier way to find the number of sold tickets and the number of checked in.

Regards
Frans

That would require code customization but it is doable. But where should these information be displayed ?

I have not given much thought about where. Perhaps an existing view or module with a simple event list can be modified?
For instance, I see a front end menu possibility 'Manage Events' where it could be added to the list. Our check-in team should only be authorised for viewing, of course.

Perhaps the various event lists are getting too crowded with information. Maybe add a button or link 'More', or 'Statistics' with a popup where lesser used items can be placed?

Just some thoughts.

Frans

Maybe display that information on event details page would be best. But this would require customization and will cost you small fee. If you are interested, please submit a support ticket and we will discuss more details about it
