Stripe checkout and "meses sin intereses" was created by Robert Gastaud
Hi,
My client is using your plugin Stripe Checkout for Events Booking and would like to authorise payment in several monthly instalments.
Is it possible or will you have to create a new plugin?
I saw on that page stripe.com/docs/recurring-payments?local...GB#installment-plans Stripe Billing, but also Stripe Checkout.
Could you help me to understand how to do?
Thanks!
Robert

Hi Robert
I don't understand exactly how your client expects it to work but afraid of this is not supported by our Stripe payment plugin
Regards,
Tuan

Hi Tuan,
My client is using the "Stripe Checkout" plugin for Events Booking.
She saw that Stripe allows you to pay in several monthly instalments and would like to enable his customers to do so. I've seen in the Stripe documentation that there's a setting to be made in the Stripe account, but what I don't know is whether the Stripe Checkout plugin is compatible, and whether the choice of paying in one or more instalments is only made at the time of payment in Stripe, and not in the plugin.
Regards,
Robert

Hi Robert
Our Stripe payment plugin for Events Booking does not support installments payment as you want because Events Booking does not support installments/ recurring payment.
If you need recurring/installments payment, you will need to use Membership Pro

Thanks Tuan, but it's Stripe that allows you to pay in 3 instalments for example, via Klarna, if I've understood correctly, and which immediately pays the full amount to the site owner. What I can't work out is whether the connection with the Stripe Checkout plugin will allow Stripe to display the offer to pay in full or in several monthly instalments.

Hi Robert
If so, I guess you will need to contact Stripe support and ask them about it. In Stripe Checkout payment plugin, we redirect users to Stripe for processing payment, so if Stripe allows installments payment as you said, it might be supported

Thanks Tuan,
I will contact them. I hope that I only need to set the parameters in the Stripe account.

Stripe answered:
"Depending on whether you use Stripe Checkout or PaymentIntents, there are two different ways of integrating Klarna into your account.
You can integrate Klarna with the PaymentIntents API using the following integration guide: stripe.com/docs/payments/klarna
And you can integrate it into your Checkout using the following integration guide: stripe.com/docs/payments/checkout "

Robert

Hi Robert
We are using Stripe Checkout stripe.com/docs/payments/checkout , so I guess you just need to enable the payment methods from your account settings to have it works
