Event Cancellation was created by Alex
If I have to cancel an event due to low registrations is there a way to:
1) Mark the event canceled but still show it on the website VS. simply unpublishing?
2) Notify all registrants the event was canceled. I see there is an email set up under (Email & Message") but not sure if that is meant for people who cancel themselves or something else.
Thanks!

Hello Alex
Better go to Events Booking -> Events, check on the checkbox next to the event which you want to cancel and press Cancel Event button in the toolbar. The system will:
1. Mark the event as cancelled
2. Mark all the registration records of that event as cancelled
3. Emails all registrants tell them that event is cancelled
If you don't want the event to be displayed on the website anymore, then you can unpublish that event.
Regards,
Tuan

Could you confirm the name of the email that is sent upon cancellation?
Is it event_cancel_email_subject and event_cancel_email_body ?
Is it event_cancel_email_subject and event_cancel_email_body ?

Hi Alex
That's right. event_cancel_email_subject and event_cancel_email_body are the right keys for subject and body of that email
