Send only one email for group registration

On our group registration form, if the person filling out the form is also a member, they end up getting 2 emails - User Email and Group Member Email. Is there a way to send only one email if the email address for one of the members matches that of the billing email?

We do not support this option at the moment. I don't know if it is really needed. So I will keep monitor customer request. If there are more customers need it, I will implement support for it in the future

Thank you for the quick reply. Is there a way to add another email registration message, something like "Billing Email Body" that is just for the group billing email? This way that message could be customized separately.

I don't know why you need separate email message for billing email ? Normally, group members and the billing member will receive different email messages already

Yes, that's correct. But individual registration email is the same as the group billing email. It would be nice to have different messages for those.

Sorry but we won't support additional email messages like that. However, you might be able to handle it using conditional text feature, see eventbookingdoc.joomservices.com/basic-setup/conditional-text . Something like:

{ebShowText [NUMBER_REGISTRANTS]=1}This text will be show for individual registration{/ebShowText}

{ebShowText [NUMBER_REGISTRANTS]>1}This text will be show for group registration registration{/ebShowText}

Please try that. It should work for your need

This displayed the proper text for an individual registration:
{ebShowText [NUMBER_REGISTRANTS]=1}This text will be show for individual registration{/ebShowText}

Using this for a group registration did not work. The text between the tags did not display.
{ebShowText [NUMBER_REGISTRANTS]>1}This text will be show for group registration registration{/ebShowText}

That's strange to me. For your group registration, are you sure you have Number Registrants >= 2 ?
