Waiting list payment status

Waiting list payment status was created by Trevor Smith
Hi

We have waiting list enabled and notice that when someone joins the waiting list the payment status is set to "Full Payment".
This is causing some confusion, can it be set to "Pending" instead?

Hi Trevor

You should check the Registration Status instead. It should say waiting list

For Payment Status, it is used when you have deposit payment enabled with two options :

- Full Payment
- Deposit Payment

For waiting list registration, maybe we should not display that information for the registration record.

I made the change. Could you please access to My Downloads menu item, download latest package, upgrade to your site, then check it again to see if it works as you want ?

Thanks for the speedy response. Unfortunately it doesn't appear to be working. Adding myself to a waiting list still lists the payment status as 'Full Payment'. Also if I open the application the 'Payment Made' field is showing the full amount.

Afraid I misunderstood your request. Maybe you can attach screenshot of the page which you would like to hide that Payment Status data?

Hi Tuan

The area that has caused confusion for the booking administrator is the front-end manage events page and the front end edit booking page. The booking administrators thought that applicants had paid for their waiting list applications.
The manage events page looks like this:
 

If they drill down to the edit registrant page it looks like the booking has been paid:

Thank you Tuan, that should avoid the confusion.

Our booking people don't have access to the back-end admin so their main overview of the bookings is through the front-end manage events page. To complicate matters a bit more, if someone pays by BACS the booking people don't know if the funds have actually been received unless the treasurer lets them know. To make it easier to spot the BACS payments then perhaps the payment method could be added below the payment status. I could then change the status wording to better reflect the status. So the contents of the Payment Status column might look something like this:

    Fully paid
    Stripe

    Fully paid
    BACS

    Deposit paid
    PayPal

    Awaiting payment
    BACS

    Refunded

Maybe something to consider later.

For now, we will leave it as how it is. I will continue reviewing and improving it more in the future if needed. The current modification, should at least address your concern already
