EB PayPal Standard Checkout Payment Plugin

Dear customers

Today, we released a new payment plugin called EB PayPal Standard Checkout payment plugin which implement the standard checkout payment option from PayPal, see PayPal documentation at 

Compare to standard PayPal payment plugin, the new PayPal Standard Checkout has few advantages:

- Allow customers to pay using PayPal or credit card directly on your site (they won't be redirected to PayPal anymore)
- Offer alternative payment methods, depends on where visitors come from, see  developer.paypal.com/docs/checkout/apm/
- Offer Pay Later options: You/Administrator get payment immediately, but customers can pay in multiple smaller payment amounts, see  developer.paypal.com/docs/checkout/apm/
- Allow paying using Venmo  developer.paypal.com/docs/checkout/pay-with-venmo/

According to PayPal, PayPal Standard Checkout provides more simplified and secure checkout experience. The merchants using this have seen 2x higher conversion rate.

I just purchased and installed this. It all goes well until the process registration button is clicked. It then changes to a screen (still on our website) that says "Please choose one of the payment options below to process payment for your registration for [it inserts the name of the event here]. The amount to pay is $15.00"

But then it just sits there with no options. What am I doing wrong?

That's strange. There should be different payment methods displayed (at least PayPal and credit card displayed there)

Maybe there is something special on your site or with your account. Could you please submit a support ticket sending us super admin account and link to the page so that I can check it?

Did you create this same new PayPal Standard Checkout Payment Plugin for Membership Pro or E-Shop? If not, are there plans to develop in the future?

2. For Eshop, we are working on it and it should be available in very near future

I am already using PayPal Standard Checkout Payment Plugin on Events Booking.
For Membership Pro, do I just download the plugin from My Downloads and then install it in Membership Pro.

You need to purchase MP PayPal Standard Checkout payment plugin at joomdonation.com/payment-plugins/members...payment-plugins.html to use it with Membership Pro. Also, please note that the MP PayPal Standard Checkout payment plugin does not support recurring payment yet, so if you need to have recurring subscriptions, you will need to use standard os_paypal payment plugin

Hi, I installed the EB PayPal Standard Checkout Payment Plugin but never get the option to pay later. Within the plugin, I can find several payment options to disable but there is only a Paypal pay later option für US/UK but none for Germany. I guess the plugin does not support the pay later option in Germany or is that a PayPal specific adjust that I have to activate within PayPal. Thanks for your advice.
