Registration failure - Invalid handle provided

Registration failure - Invalid handle provided was created by William
I recently bought the Stripe payment module, and once I click "Process Registration" on an event registration page, I get an error:  "Your registration was failure.  Reason: Invalid handle provided"

I am unable to figure out why, and have tried turning on/off just about every setting at this point.   

Can you help please?

I think it happens because you are using PHP 8. For this, please download this library joomdonation.com/downloads/lib_omnipay3.zip , then go to Extensions -> Manage -> Install, install that updated library, and try again, the error should be gone

Hi, this happened on my client's site too, but with a donation form through Authorize.net. We run on Joomla so I don't think it's the PHP. Could you advise?

Hello Barry and others

If anyone has this error, please install this updated library eventbookingdoc.joomservices.com/getting...nts-booking-on-php-8

(The solution can be applied for all of our extensions which are having this issue on PHP 8 - only happens with some payment plugins, not always happen)

Hi Shaindy

What version of the extension you are using? If you are not using latest version, it won't work, too. So please make sure you are not using an too outdated version of the extension
