TextLocal sending SMS messages not working was created by OTWD

Hi
I am testing out the SMS send functionality

I have followed the instructions here: eventbookingdoc.joomservices.com/basic-setup/sms-reminder
I have a txtlocal account with an API key, sender name and 20 credits.
I have enabled the EB sms plugin with a trigger code set to "smsreminder"
I have enabled the EB txtlocal sms plugin and have entered the api key and sender name
I have setup a test event with send sms setting set to yes and reminder set to 1 day before
I have setup a cron job to trigger every 5 minutes: wget -q -O /dev/null " xxxx.ie/index.php?trigger_reminder_code=smsreminder " > /dev/null 2>&1

When i register no txt message is sent my phone number has the country code entered like this 353XXXXXXX
No reminder message is sent even when i manually run the cron job url
Can you confirm if there are any issues with the SMS sending?

I updated to EB3.17.2 and i am now receiving the admin text messages which is great - however no reminder message (I set them to trigger 3 hours before the event) - does the hours account for the server time being set to Dublin not UTC?

As of right now, I'm afraid of SMS messages is only supported by days, hours is not supported yet and that could be the reason causing the error

And the time is always counted using the Website Time Zone. It is not using UTC timezone

Hi
I'm testing this since the update to EB 3.17.4 to support hourly sending of SMS.
I have the Event setting set to send a reminder 1 hour before and 1 hour after the event start date / time however nothing goes out.
Can you confirm if the hourly sending does actually work?
Joomla 3.10.3 and php7.4 using textlocal provider

Hello

Yes. It works. Could you please submit a support ticket sending me super admin account of your site and tell me ID of some registration records which you expect the SMS messages were sent so that I can check to see if it was sent or not?

Thanks for checking,
I was using textlocal - i recreated the api with an ip address and used their default sender name TXTLCL and it worked this time.
Also i changed the mobile number from 086 to country code 35386 so that may have helped too
