content of registration form was created by spirox
hi:
I just bought/install event booking 1.32 and got a little confuse about it. please forgive me if my question is stupid/unclear.
I want to let our customers to register our events. all the events are individual register and free.
my question below:
1. can I customize the input fields of the registration form? I saw there are some default fields like "name","e-mail","address". can I change that? I know I can add new fields. but can I control all the fields which I want to show in the form?
2. with the registration process, after I filled and sent the form, the second step is "confirm". but now there is a extra empy "comment" field in the "confirm" form. what's that for? can I prevent it?
3. after senting the "confirm" form, it shows me the registration details. now there are empty "comment" field and "total cost" field and "transaction id" field. can I prevent these useless fields?
4. what is "billing fields" in the configuration? I wish it is the settings about the registration form fields. but it seems not.
thanks a lot for your help!!

Hi
I am sorry for lately response. I was sick last week, so I am alitle busy now for the work in queu and alitle slow in repling the questions .
All your questions are related to how to make a field on registration form to be showed/hided, required/not required . To do that, you can simply edit the event, looks at Billing Fields setting tab and change the setting to meet your need .
Please note that the settings in configuration only affect new events. For the events which you created before, you must change the settings on Event edit page .
Hope my explanation is clear to you . Please let me know if you have other questions .
Thanks,
Tuan

hi:
thanks for your answer. according to your answer, I think the "billing form" means the first page of register process, am I right?
I notice there are 3 forms with the register process.
1. form to input data
2. form for confirm data
3. form for summary data
is the "billing form" means the first form?
thanks again for clarify!

Hi
The billing field setting will affect both the 3 forms. For example, if you choose to hide the state field, it will be hided for both 3 form :
1. Registration Form
2. Confirmation page
3. Summary page (which I call 'Thank you page') .
I think you should try to play with the extension to see how it works .
Thanks,
Tuan
