Hi Tuan,

We would like to prevent double registration during one event because we need details from the customer for that event.
(It's all about a dogschool and we need details for one event about one dog)
But the customer may also order the same event another time with other details for that specific event (another dog with other name, age, etc).

If we enable "Prevent double registration" the order has not an increment/decrement +/- at the event at the first order. And after one order with 1 registrant, the customer can not order the same event: at this event appears: "you already ordered this event".
These are two different things, can you split this up?
We would like to disappear the increment-decrement at the order and we would like the customer can order the same "only one" event again for the same culstomer.
So the customer can order 2 separate registrations from the same event and filled in different details per order.
Is it possible you can do this?

Regards, Elly

Hi,

Found the solution in the general configuration:
"Prevent double registration" set to "Yes".
And the increment button doesn't work.

Great Extension with lots of possibilities.

Elly

Hi Tuan,

We noticed that our problem is solved for now but not exactly what we whish.
Sorry for that.

Maybe it's something for the feature request:
We have set: no double registration.
Now they can order 1 person for 1 event & only order this event once.

We would like to have:
1 person order for 1 event & the next time he can order the same event for one person.
At this time that's not possible.

We got a lot of custom fields for the event with details ( for the dogschool: name of the dog, age, etc.)
These empty fields are not incremented when the the event is booked twice, so they could fill out the other dogs name and age, etc., this is not possible.
It's a workaround to solve this by ordering a new event for the same person with another dogname, so a member of the family can follow with another dog the same training.

I hope you understand our whishes and problem?
Do we have to put this request in the features-request??

By the way, today the website is going live.
He looks very beautifull, also thanks to your help and we are very proud!

Thank you very much for all support!!

Kind Regards,
Pip and Elly

Hello Elly

The main question here is how the system check to see if it's a duplicate registration? Right now, it checks base on user email and user ID (in case user logged in). Maybe in your case, it needs to be checked using different data?

I'm glad to hear that your site was going live and you're happy with it

Hi Tuan,

Thank you!

Maybe it's possible to split up those different 2 things of prevent more than one registration no Event Booking if:
1. only one registration during 1 order
2. only one registration of this event

We need only option 1.
Is it possible to disable the increment button? That's all we need.

Kind regards,
Elly

Hi Tuan,

We can order one specific event and can change the number.
We like to have only the number of one in a order, no possiblity to increment it to 2 or 3 or more.
And we like also that the same person can order that specific event again als for only 1.

For the increment button see attachement.
Where is "Aantal" is Dutch and in English "Number".
This Number is incremented from 1 to 2 in this example.

Thank you!

Kind Regards,
Elly
