Auto Registration

Hi Tuan

A quick query on auto registration

I have an event, with one child.
I want them to book onto the parent event but not be able to book onto the child as they will be auto registered onto that date.
However, if I set the child event to 'disable registration' it does not automatically register them.

How can i set this up so they cannot choose to register onto the child event?

Hi Alison

On the auto registration plugin, there is a parameter called Check Accept Registration. Set it to No would solve the issue

Would it be possible to have a way to disable registration for additional dates for an event? At the moment I have to go into the individual child events to disable. It would be great if I could do it from the Additional Dates tab.
Something for the wish list I guess

Not possible for now, you will have to customize code (with some small fee) if it's really needed

You can install this modified plugin, then try to edit a parent event, all it's additional dates event will have registration type set to Disabled

Sorry to be a pain.

The auto registration does not seem to work with shopping cart, is this correct?
We are also using the 'checkboxes' to checkout .

Yes, currently, it is not working with shopping cart. When you use shopping cart, auto register will only work for the first event you added to cart

I'm busy today and could not look at it. I will try to look at this again on Monday to see if I could come up with custom code for you to handle this case
