Form resubmission causing multiple registrations

Some of our end users have been impatient during the registration process and submitted their event registration 2-4 times.

Are you working on some way of catching these to minimize duplicates?

By default, when the button is clicked, it will be disabled immediately, so It's hard to click it multiple times. Could you please send me link to registration form on your site so that I can take a look at it?

Just want to ask more information:

- Is your event is free?
- Do users logged in or not?

If the event is free and user is logged in, maybe you should go to Events Booking -> Configuration, set Reduce Registration Process config option to No to see if it helps

It's free and the users have to be logged in to register. What specifically would change if I change the Reduce Registration Process to "no" ? I don't want to add more things for the users to do/complete.

If the button is disabled, it is also possible users are refreshing the page, although it is difficult for me to be sure what they have done.

Please get this file, unzip it, upload the received file to PATH_TO_TEMPLATE/html/com_eventbooking/common folder on your site. Then monitor to see if it solves the issue
