Can't Get Sum of Textbox Custom Field Type was created by zoomlanski

Can I open a ticket for assistance?

I can't get the sum of the fields in a fee field registration

I had the same issue while setting this up. A few things you should check. Under Fee formula do you have [FORM_AMOUNT]*[FIELD_VALUE]?

If you do and its still not working, have you changed the Fee Field option from No to Yes to see if that works?

Hey Guys

I keep looking at the screenshot instruction - joomdonation.com/images/screen/quanlity.png

And I can't help but notice it keeps saying Datatype Validation - Number

I don't have that field in my custom field. It's not visible or an option

Is this my problem? That it doesn't recognize the value as a number?

I tried to find the file that does the calculations, but can't locate it.

I am sorry for the mistake in tutorial document. The [FORM_AMOUNT] tag is not available in Event Booking (I wrote that in my tutorial, my mistake, sorry) .

Could you explain what you want to setup here so that I can guide you ?

Exactly like the Tutorial, I simple multiplication.

Users will select how many lunches they want and the price of the lunch with a total sum processed by paypal and offline.

[Total Lunches Selection] * [Cost of Lunch] = Total on Registration Checkout

Is Total Lunches Selection a textbox custom fields ? If so, you just need to do the following :

1. Set the Fee Field property to Yes .

2. In the formular, enter [FIELD_VALUE]*10, 10 is the cost of lunch .

My solution was - [FIELD_VALUE]*10
fee field - yes

I should have picked up on that. Sometimes the most obvious solutions are simple.
