Custom Field Quantity Not Working was created by Missie
Hi Tuan,

My custom field list is not honoring the quantity values. Is this a bug? This is a huge deal, and causing us lots of problems. Is there maybe something that has changed in the config that I need to adjust?

Hi Missie

You are saying that you can still register for the event and choose an option which should not be available now?

Please note that we don't handle limit with an account which has Super Admin permission. So if you check it, please make sure you are checking it without logging in or login using a simple registered account

As always, thank you so much for your prompt reply!!!

You are correct. That appears to be the issue. We have several groups who manage events. The problem is that any of these people now have access to override the max capacity. None of these people are super users. Any ideas on how to limit non super users the ability to overbook for all of our events?

Hi Missie

What type of field you are using? Maybe in this case, we just edit the code to not allow anyone to choose a quantity option when limit is already reached

I very much would appreciate being able to adjust the coding so that the limits are honored by all users. :)

I'm using a list in the custom field.

Should I send admin credentials?

Please try to get this file, unzip it, upload to administrator/components/com_eventbooking/libraries/rad/form/field folder of your site. After that, check it again and update us with the result

I uploaded the file, and admins (not super users) are still able to register on list custom fields which have already met max capacity.

That's strange. Could you please submit a support ticket:

1. Sending us super admin account of the site
2. Sending us the link to registration form
3. Tell us name of that the field

I am going to check to see why it happens and get it sorted

Let me see if I can add a config option to allow control this behavior so that you don't have to re-upload the file each time you update to future releases of the extension

I will update this thread with the result if I decide to implement it
