Group information in group member export /

We use EB for a kids event. All registrations are done as a group, with 1 or more members. The parent enters their info once (parent name, email, phone, etc), and then details for each child (name, age, etc).

When we export the information to print contact sheets, etc, the export has rows for the parent and rows for each group member. This makes it hard, because you can't directly find the group information from the member information (such as X child's parent)

Is there a way to merge this information, so that group billing information (such as parent name) goes on each row of the export next to the child's name? I've done it locally from the export, but it's a pain to process the data. I've played with the settings for "Include Group Billing Records" and "Include Group Members Records", but they just appear to leave the group info out of member records, not merge it.
