Hi,

I can't quite understand how r what I have changed this but when a new event was booked then the registrant received only the registration email and once the event was paid for then I could mark the "ticket" as "Paid" and this then generated the invoice/ticket PDF with QRcode.

However, now when I test the Event Booking system the registrant receives the invoice/ticket even though I have used the "offliine payment" method. I only want them to receive this once they have paid.

The only change I made recently was in the Payment Plug-Ins where I changed the title to "Cash/Cheque". Could this have made the difference??

Hi Allen

No, it won't. Basically, right now, Events Booking will send invoice PDF to registrants when they use offline payment invoice status Pending Payment

I think we will need to a config option in the extension to allow only sending invoice PDF only when the payment is completed. Give me few days to work on it. I will have this option ready in the extension on Monday next week

I did a presentation of the ticketing solution to the local council last night and it has gained positive approval so we just need to get this tidied away and then we are ready to roll as we have events pending which need to go on the system.

I too would only want the invoice / ticket sent upon successful payment. Hopefully this is almost ready.

Yes. This feature is now in 2.4.0. Update to this latest version, then go to Events Booking -> Configuration, look at Invoice Settings tab, set "Only send invoice on payment complete" and it should work as expected

However, from feedback of customers, seems this is not a right way. Basically, some other customers want that:

1. When users register for an event using offline payment method, the system will send an invoice with Pending status

2. When admin receives payment and approve the registration, another invoice with paid status will be sent, too

It seems that's logical, so I might change the system to work like that for the next release. Not sure if it is OK?

This feature is now implemented in version 2.4.1. You can update your site to this latest version to use this feature. See joomdonation.com/forum/events-booking-ge...-released.html#78497 for change logs

Hello,
what do you mean with "... when an admin aprouves registration ..." ?
I can only see that a registrant who chooses offline payment is automatically registered.
