Update to latest

With the latest update for the events booking will that affect what has been done to files we have edited over the past couple of weeks
EG: back ground colors and so on

These css modifications should be kept. However, you should make a backup of your site before making update so in case something doesn't work, you can revert it back

yep I've done all that, all back up..

I've spoken to my client about the update and he has forward me some details to login to download it, too which it didn't work, I have sent a ticket to ask a question about

Viewing the site from work, I can see the update that I applied to the site has changed every thing we did for the site as in colors and so on..
Anyway around this or do a restore back to old back up

When you upgrade, all the custom modifications will be lost. So you will need to re-do it or restore it to the old version

yes I had to restore from a backup, i didn't clear my temp file's, it wasn't until today I viewed the site from work I seen what it did

I didn't get most of the file links to what your tech changed were there huge changes in those files he edited ?

is it possible in a later update you guys could add that function in to were users can change colours etc etc

Right now, we have no plan to adding support for the features. Changing colors... should be done via css, so I think you should spend sometime to learn css and you will be able to control it.

I don't remember what modifications were made, however, I remember there are some tickets, so I think it will cost my dev few hours of working if we redo the change.

how safe is it to leave those files your team edited as they are after an update of other files, if you get what mean
if you dont mine, what colour template was used to match the extension thinking may be better to redo site to match the default extension you created..
