Problems with Event Booking Registration Form

I have 2 problems with Event Booking Event Registration Form

1/ Showing some fields as required even though it is set as not required in the configeration

2/ When I tried to process a registration it went to the Main Page so I activated the fix in the configuration, redid to registration and got this error..
"1064
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '))' at line 1 SQL=SELECT * FROM chal_eb_fields WHERE fee_field = 1 AND published= 1 AND display_in IN (0, 4, 5) AND (event_id = -1 OR id IN (SELECT field_id FROM chal_eb_field_events WHERE event_id=))"

Seems related to old version of Events Booking ? What version you are using ?

Yes, I see. We usually work and fix small bugs from time to time, so even you are currently have latest version (1.6.3 in this case), it might still be "old version". I remember that we fixed this issue long time ago. We provide free upgrade for one year for each purchase, so please access to My Downloads menu item , see your order, download latest version and upgrade it to your site.

Hi, The new download is defininately a later version as the previous on did not have the Invoice Function.
It has fixed the Registration issue and it seems to be OK.
The other problem with the Required Fields is stil not working.
In the configuration settings I have some fields as required and some fields not required but in the actual user registration form all fields are REQUIRED. How can I correct it so only the configured fields are required in the form.

Tuan, Hi I just bought and Downloaded Events Booking and have same issue. Fields set to be NOT required
still display as REQUIRED. Also COUNTRY should appear after ZIPCODE it is in wrong position
I also tried to make TRANSLATION like I learned in MembershipPro.....but after making edit and saving
it reverts to the original wording in translation table

=> The settings in Configuration area (required/not required) will only be used for new events. For existing events, you will need to edit the event, change the settings from there and it will work well !

Hi Tuan .....it is (was) a new event.....but I then went back edited the event and it still did not work

However I still need help with moving COUNTRY field to after ZIPCODE

and

Translation will not save changes
