An Advice Needed on Usage was created by zaferonweb
Hello,
I plan to make around 10 to 15 events in 2014. My events are very similar to each other in content. Therefore I was thinking to create just one event in Events Booking and after the event date passed, I would change the date for the next event. I think, in this case, registrants may create problem. Because past event's registrants will receive the same emails.
What do you advise me to manage events? Is it better for me to create seperate event item for each event or shall I use single event item for all my events and then change the date? Which is more sensible and managable?
Thanks and best regards,
Zafer

Hi Zafer
Simply create an event. Then when the event passed, copy that event as a new event (using the copy button in the toolbar).
By doing that, you don't have to enter information of these events again and again.
Also, since the events have the same title, please go to Events Booking -> Configuration, look at SEF router settings tab, find the config option Insert Event ID, set it to Yes and It will solve the problem !
