Password does not match was created by hella
Hi,
If I am a registered joomla (and jomsocial) user and I try to register myself for an event by putting in my username and password, I instantly get the message 'Password does not match'. In event booking I set the jomsocial integration on, so that is not it.
what's wrong?

Hi hella
On what page you see the Password does not match message ? Could you please make a screenshot of that page so that I can understand the actual problem and get it sorted ?

Hi,
After I press the 'register for an event' button I get the chance to register in 2 parts. I am talking about the first part : username (gebruikersnaam) and password (wachtwoord) I assume that if you are allready registered and you put in your username and password the rest of your accountinformation is looked up from jomsocial or joomla and presented there? And If the choosen username does not exist, it creates a new account and you have to fill in the rest.
but perhaps that is not possible and you have to login through the normal joomla login first.

Hi
Yes. At the moment, it is not possible and you will have to login through normal Joomla Login module. In the next release which we are working on, we will allow users who has account can login before continue the registration. The next released is planned to be released in two weeks !

Hi hella
The new version is now ready for testing. Would you be happy to test this new version to make sure it works as you expected ? You can see the list of new features at joomdonation.com/62-general-discussion/3...g-version-1.6.0.html (including the one you requested).
Regards,
Tuan

Hi Tuan,
the username and password integration with jomsocial and register an event works with the new version!
I my case I had to add two fields in Jomsocial (Firstname and lastname) becaus in jomsocial there is only a field 'username'.
This is how you can do that:
documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Using_f...name_on_registration
this works perfectly. Thanks!
Strange thing is that I don't get the 'Organisation' field mapped with the value from jomsocial.
I can map the field (I can see the jomsocial ' organisation' field) but when a registered member registers for a event the organisation field is empty.. Same problem with the field' Telepfone' What can that be?
I see some layout issues with the new version but I will test further to be more specific. A bigger problem I see with the new version is that my template (yootheme) has problems with the galleries and slideshows, they don't work (display) anymore.. Galleries and slideshows use' Widgekit' from yootheme, so I think there is a (jquery?) conflict with that? does it ring a bell for you, somewhere?

Hi Hella
In the version 1.6.1 (which we will release soon, one or two more days), we will have an option to unload Jquery and that should solve the issue. (version 1.6.1 also implement a SEF router for Joomla which makes the URLs more nicer and better for SEO).
So please wait for me few more days and get version 1.6.1 .
Regards.
