[EVENT_DATE] in Thank You Message

I have been busy configuring my email and messages and have been entering [EVENT_DATE] into them which is working fine but it doesn't seem to work on the "Thank You" message online when a user registers for an event.

I have many events on different dates but with the same name.

As I said I got it to work with all other online messages and emails just not this one. How can I implement this?

I have set to show dates in Themes but this is just for back end isn't it?

At the moment, that tag is not supported in the thank you message. However, if you set Show Event Date config option to Yes and use [REGISTRATION_DETAIL] tag, the event date should be showed. Could you please check ?

Yes that is working now, I only really wanted the date showing nothing else but this is fine. Thanks for your help.

OK. If you want, you can contact me next week and I will add support for [EVENT_DATE] tag for you. These days, I am quite busy (have to find a house for my family).

For this week, please leave it as how it is ! It is an acceptable solution.

No worries Tuan this will do as it is. Good luck finding a house and when you have that sorted spend some time to make it possible to allow people to select which currency they would like to pay in for each event. I understand this is a difficult task but have not seen another event component that will do this so will make your component stand out. I am sure this will be a benefit to many people and I for one will be happy to pay for this feature.

Thanks. It is not really difficult. However, I haven't seen any customer asked for it before, so it seems there are not many customers need it. We might add support for this feature in the future, but not very soon !

Dear Tuan, I would love to have event start and event end date. I have registration_detail in my messages, but the in the email the start and end date are the current date - today - both same.

I am pretty sure, that this was working before. Is it possible that after EB update, I have lost some functions?

If it worked before, maybe I (or you or someone) has customized it to make it works. As you can see, Dryfive confirmed that it works, so I believe you missed some steps. Dear Tuan,

It has to be something with the update of helper.php file. When I upload helper.php which is one year old, it is working. The current version of helper.php is not working even if I follow the steps in the link above. Can I use this old version of helper.php or you would not recomend it. Thank you and good luck with new version.
