confirmation email on offline payment was created by Eric Lamy
Hello,
I search where it could be but I did'nt find. When a registrant paid with an offline mode, he receive a thank you email. no problem with that.
But when administrator validate his payment There's no email sending to prevent registrant that his registration is active.
I'm sure there was this setting before because I used it. Is this option desapear whith the 1.5.3 version ?
If you can help it will be fine.
Thx for answers
Configuration : J! 2.5.9 EventBooking 1.5.3

Hi Eric
The feature is still there. You can simply click on the checkbox next to an offline payment record (when this record is pending), then press Publish button in the toolbar. After that, the registration status will be changed and an email will be sent to the registrants.
Please note that the email will only be sent if you "publish" the registration record. If you edit the registration record, change it from Pending to Paid, no emails will be sent.
Hope my explanation is clear to you.

Hi Tuan,
Is there any way to trigger the confirmation message from frontend? The reason is that our "event managers" will be in charge of approving the registrants when they receive the payment. However not all of these people are someone who can be directed to the backend, as they will be overwhelmed (even with instructions). So they do not have access to the Publish-button.
What I would need is a trigger mechanism, from the frontend Registrants Management, when changing status from Pending to Paid, that will send the Registration Approved message. Any chance of getting such functionality?

Hi
This will require some modification to the code. This weekend, I will be busy to work on new version of Events Booking (which has big improvements), so if you submit a support ticket sending us admin and FTP account of your site, I will try to spend time to work on it for you on Monday next week !
