default access group was created by Websquirrel
Hi,
is it possible to set globally a default access group for viewing and registering? If yes, how?
We needed that because it is very hard to set access group manually for each and every event. Currently EB sets guest for each newly created event - and that is not the group what we want to give access

You are using Joomla 3.0.x, correct ? I am asking this because it is default to Public for Joomla 2.5.x already.

No, I am using J2.5. But I set a certain level for "guest". Now this is what EB sets for default access level. "public" and "guest" are not the same

the issue is not in Joomla, the issue is in your component EB only.
Creating new articles in Joomla: public
Creating new Events in EB: guest
So there must be something wrong with EB settings

I could not see the issue on my local computer (on my local computer, I even don't see Guest access level). Could you send me administrator account of your site so that I can do a quick check?
