Four Registration Options for an Event was created by Richard Langevin
I have four options for my event. member, member+spouse, non-member, non-member+spouse.
To present these I put four events in one category and then when the category is selected, the registrant sees these options and picks one. I am not using the cart at this time.
Once the event is selected, I used custom variables to present the appropriate signup choices for workshops etc based on their status.
This solution is easy for people to understand but since the four events are not linked in any way, I have no way of setting a total capacity for the sum of the four and when a registered person returns to the category page, the other three options are still available for registration.
I would like to be able to link four event options. Perhaps there is a better approach. Ideas?

Hi Michael
To be honest, I still don't understand how you want to setup the system to work. However, I am afraid of it is not something which Events Booking can handle.
Have you tried to create just only one event and then create a custom field which allows registrants to choose the option they want during the registration (the can choose member, member + spouse.....

Hi Tuan
Sorry if my explanation was not clear.
I have a number of registration options for different choices and workshops and other options that vary by the registration group. For example, if a spouse is not coming I did not ask about bus trip tickets for a spouse or meal selections for a spouse.
What I did was to setup variables for each of these and then tie them to one or more of the four groups (member, member+spouse, non-member and non-member+spouse) Since I was already using the separate events to minimize the options for each group, I did not want to add the member class group to the mix at the custom variable level.
I suspected that there was no way to link events only for the purpose of a setting a capacity that spanned multiple events and preventing people from registering multiple times in different groups. As long as this is the case, I can use without any significant loss of function the four event groups for my registration process. The entire Event Booking process is very powerful and easy to use.
Thank you again for a great process.
