Auto send email when offline_payment is paid

Auto send email when offline_payment is paid was created by Shina Charles Memud
Hello,

I was wondering if it is possible to automatically send email of confirmation when " Registration Status " changes to "Paid". I have offline_payment for my users, so they pay to the bank. So when I confirm the payment from the bank, I simply just for to the registrant details and choose paid, is it possible an email to be sent to them automatically once I choose paid?

Hi Shina

At the moment, the system doesn't send an email to registrants when you edit the registration record and set it from Pending to Paid. However, it does send emails to registrant if you go to Events Booking -> Registrants and publish the registration record .

Please try that option and you will understand what I meant !

Hi Tuan,

That publish didn't work either, I think that might be because I didn't register the user as "registered (joomla user)" - I only filled in the data for the event.

So what do I do in this case, it is extremely nice to update the registrant once their payment as being confirmed by changing their status to paid. I guess I have to do it manually?

You don't have to do it manually. What version of the extension you are using ? If you have atleast version 1.4.5, it should work !

Well it doesn't work and I have attached the screenshot of my back-end as a prove.. Also I noticed I can't install this plugin ( plug_cb_ebregistrationhistory ) and I don't know why. Can it be the reason?

Please try the following steps :

1. Try to register again, using offline payment method .

2. Login to Events Booking -> Registrant, look at the Pending record. Then check on the checkbox corresponding to this registration record and press Publish button in the toolbar.

After that, please check your email. You should receive an email from the system .

So I did make a new registration and try to publish it (payment still pending) and I get a blank white screen. No email.

All I got was the confirmation of the booking. Is that what you mean?

In this case, please submit a support ticket sending me administrator and FTP account of your site so that I can check and get it sorted for you !

Update : This issue only happens when you activate Shopping Cart feature in Events Booking. I fixed it in version (1.5.1 - the multilingual feature also added to this version of Events Booking). So if anyone has the same issue, simply download latest version, upgrade to your site and the issue will be fixed .
