Multi-language support for Joomla 2.5 was created by Mirko Mikan
Hello Tuan,
Would you please tell me how to enable EventBooking v1.5.0 to correctly work in new multi-language setup of Joomla 2.5?
JoomFish days are gone forever (thank God), and in Joomla 2.5 we need to play as she commands.
But...
There are no Language fileds in Category, Event or Location.
There is no support in modules to show only child categories of one parent category.
There is no way to limit Menu Item of any EB kind to specific language.
I am stuck with client who needs events in three-languages, each with different categories and locations.
Help!!!

Hello Mirko
Unfortunately, this feature is not yet available in the extension. Events Booking was designed to work with both Joomla 1.5 and 2.5 but Joomla 1.5 doesn't support Multilingual feature like Joomla 2.5, that's the reason the feature was not available yet.
With the release of version 1.5.0 of Events Booking, we decided to stop the development for Joomla 1.5 (we still maintain the version for Joomla 1.5 but new features will not be added for Joomla 1.5 anymore), we are working to adding support for Joomla 2.5 features like ACL, Multilingual...
For Multilingual, it will take us few more days to get it completed. Lately you will have it ready by the middle of next week (Wednesday or Thursday) .

Thank You Tuan,
I completely understand your position. It's not an easy task to maintain compatibility with three (or more) Joomlas.
I can't wait to see Joomla 2.5 native version of EB. It is really nice and usefull extension.
Keep up the good work...

Good news ! The feature is now available in version 1.5.1 of Events Booking. You can login to your account, access to My Downloads menu item, download latest version and upgrade to your site. After that, the feature will be available for you to use !

Tuan

Tuan, I have a little problem with accessing download of new version.
You see, I asked my client to buy EB, because I don't have PayPal account (I live in Serbia), and he bought it the other day, using PayPal/email address inesgoran@hotmail.com , but he claims he didnt create any user account on your site during shopping. I cant confirm that, because I didnt do it myself. Anyway, I dont have any logon parameters to access his My Downloads.
The site which I develop for him, and on which I need correct multilingual support for EN is dev.thetaway.com/
For his native language Croatian, EB is working great.
How can I access new version EB 1.5.1 to install it for him and test it?

Hi
You can ask him to register for an account using his email inesgoran@hotmail.com. After that, the order will be assigned to his account and you can ask him (or you can login under his account) to download it .
