Public Event Submission was created by Jesse Erickson
Hi there,
I am wanting to set up public Event submission where the event will be approved by an administrator, a way to send a notification would be great as well but not required. Is this possible without registration? Thanks!

Not sure you'll find many people who think unregistered submission is a great idea - how can you query any info if you don't know who sent it!
But:
Have you tried going to configuration and then clicking the Options Cog on the top right and "playing" with settings to set the Front End Submission for public to permitted?
Presume you want to have admin approve... so you may need to edit the form (see documentation) to remove the published status ad check its set to default as unpublished).
Not sure if it emails admin... If not it probably should!

Yeah, an email address would be needed in the list of fields for it to function properly. It should be unpubished by default and email an admin. Some other event software does support this functionality but is limited in other ways. I just don't want to have to require a sign up. I did adjust the permissions and it still requires a login.
I suppose what I'll have to do is create a form and enter the events manually.
