Feature Request: Hidden Form Fields was created by Matt Hankosky
We would like to have custom fields that are hidden on the event registration page, but show up under the My Event History pages.
We would like this functionality to be able to put in Hotel Booking Conformation numbers on the Admin page and have it show up for the user.

Hi Matt
Unfortunately, this feature is not available in the system at the moment, so you will need to find someone to customize the extension for you to have this feature.

A solution for this could be to create the custom field ReservationNumber.
For every new custom field the default access is set to public, is you set this to Registered the field is only visible if the user has logged on.
The disadvantage of this feature could be if a returning customer is logged on already before making a new reservation, this field is then displayed to the user. Another point to take in consideration is that this field will be a textinput, therefor editable by the user.
We also had the issue concerning the fact that a end-user can edit this data. We found a solution in adding functionalitty ourself to make a custom field end-user readonly. We needed this feature because a user could edit a already existing registration which add fields with added value (fee).
I can send a list of our modification if you are interested, to make these modifications you will needs access tot your database and the core files of Event Booking, also keep in mind that with every update these modification needs te be re-applied.

Hello
I could use a custom hidden field as well. Reason: I use EB to book courses. Each course has an internal number, that should not be visible to the user, but most go into the export file (.csv).
With a custom field of type "hidden" this would be very easy to implement.
Regards
Patrick

Tuan, Could you add a new text type field called ReadOnly or Hidden? or even both . They would both not show up on the Registration form.
On the Backed they would both show up and only the ReadONLY would show up on the Event Booking History for the User.

All, As a work around for now, i set the custom field with access only to Super Users. This way the end user never sees it and i can use it.

Hello
I would see value in this. As my business is for registrations for competitions a verification Yes/No would be great!
