Custom event fields - Matching email from list was created by Gio Bas
Dear Tuan,
I come to you with some questions related to the custum fields for an event. Here is my case:
I am organising an event where participants are pre-selected and in order to prevent the spread of the event link, I would need to pre-load their emails on the database (or on an external file). So that, when invited participants register for the event, the first field to put is their email. If the email matches with the one stored on the database, they can continue with the registration. Otherwise, they cannot go ahead.
Do you have a solution in mind for this fist issue?

Hello Giovanni
No, that would not be solution. A simpler solution would be developing a custom validation rule to validate and make sure email is in database to accept the registration (so the registrant will enter all their data on registration form and the system will perform validation)
See eventbookingdoc.joomservices.com/basic-s...eld-data-server-side
You will need programming skill or hire a developer to help you with that task/work
Regards,
Tuan
