Hi Lito
No, there is no automatic update. Update must to be performed manually by admin, so the issue must causes by something else
You can submit a support ticket so that we can check to see what's wrong and get it sorted

Tuan

Replied by hernan ramirez on topic Feature Request: Frontend Payment Management Access for Specific Event
Hello JoomDonation team,
I’d like to request an improvement for the frontend access control in the Event Booking component.
Currently, to allow a client or staff member to review offline payments (with proof images) and mark participants as paid, we must create a Super Admin or Backend user, which exposes all system data, events, and settings.
It would be much better if this function could be handled directly from the frontend, with limited access for specific users.
Feature Request:
Please add an option in frontend permissions that allows assigning a user (client or event manager) to:
• Manage only one assigned event (selected by admin).
• View and approve offline payments and attached files (deposit slips, photos, etc.).
• Change registration status (e.g., from “Pending” → “Paid”).
• View participant details for that event only.
• Access through a mobile-friendly frontend interface — without requiring backend access.
This would make it much easier and safer to delegate payment validation to event partners or clients, especially when using offline payment methods.
Thank you for considering this improvement — it would make Event Booking much more practical for real-world event operations.
Best regards,
Hernán

Hi Hernán
The first thing is that you should setup frontend registrants management, see docs.joomdonation.com/eventsbooking/fron...t/manage-registrants , then we will go from there
Keep in mind that if you give someone permission to manage registrants from frontend, he will not only can publish/unpublish registrants but can also edit the registration record and update his data...

Hi Tuan,
Thank you for clarifying that. Yes, I have already enabled the Frontend Registrants Management feature and confirmed that it works.
However, the current limitation is that any user assigned to manage registrants from the frontend can see all events in the system, not just one.
What I’m looking for is a way to assign access to only one specific event — for example, a client or event manager who should only view and manage registrants, offline payments, and payment status for their own event, without seeing others.
This would be very useful for event organizers or partners who handle their own payments and participant lists, but should not have visibility or access to the rest of the system.
Would it be possible to add an option to restrict frontend management to a specific event ID or organizer ID? Or simply
Joomla
User yo prove access to that event
Best regards,
Hernán

Hello,
You can select the Category of the EB Frontend Management Menu (Options) to limit the menu to specific events.
You just need to plan your EB Category to manage this.
We've used this to limit people from accessing other registrants from other events.

There are few things you can try:
- Edit the event, set Created By parameter of the event to the user you want to allow managing registrants of the event.
- Go to Events Booking -> Configuration, set Only Show Registrants Of Events Owner config option to Yes
Then check the result. User should work

Hi Tuan,
Thanks again for your help and for explaining the Created By and Only Show Registrants Of Events Owner settings — I tested them and they work fine.
However, in real use cases, the process still requires too many manual steps.
Right now, if we want another user to manage a specific event (without changing the “Created By” owner), we must:
That works, but it’s not very practical when there are many events or clients, because you need to manually create and configure one menu per event.
💡 Feature suggestion for future updates:
It would be amazing if the system could allow assigning a user (or several users) directly from the backend as event managers for specific events.
Then, from the frontend, the same “Manage Registrants” menu could dynamically detect which events that logged-in user has access to — based on what was assigned in backend.
That way, the user would automatically see and manage only their assigned events, without needing multiple menus or category filters.
This would make frontend management far more efficient for multi-organizer setups or client-based systems using Event Booking.
Best regards,
Hernán

What if you set Created By of the event to the user you want? Then it will work exactly as you need (except that it does not allow multiple users to manage registrants of a single event)

Hi Hernán
Just want to update that the feature was implemented in latest version 5.3.0 which was released yesterday. You can use this plugin docs.joomdonation.com/eventsbooking/plug...ional-event-managers to assign additional managers to your event and they can manage registrants of that event
