Events Booking version 3.5.0 released

Dear customers

Today, I am happy to release new version 3.5.0 of Events Booking with following improvements:

1. Allow collecting Members information for ticket types plugin

If you use ticket types plugin, you can now collect members information for each of the purchased ticket. Just edit the events which have ticket types enabled, set Collect Members Information parameter to Yes. 2. Added search and filter option on events list page

If you enable this option (set Show Search Bar config option to Yes), users will be able to enter keywords to search for events on event list (category or upcoming events page). They can also filter events base on selected location, date range (Today/Tomorrow/This week/next week/this month/next month).



3. Improve custom field validation

We now added a new setting called Server Validations allow you to validate custom field values using PHP code.

- You can use built-in validators
- Or you can build custom validator yourself

4. Improve search module

- Added option to search for event based on From Date and To Date
- Minor layout improvement



5. Added new HTML5 field types

- Email, Tel, Url, Number, Range

6. Improve performance

- Reviewed and added necessary indexes to database table structure to help speed up the process of gettings data from database. That result it performance improvement, especially on searching / displaying events, registrants.

7. Basic GDPR implement

Many thanks for the upgrade and all the valuable features
Is it posiible that the upgarde packages has an issue ?

I just upgraded, but after upgrade Joomla still shoes that Event Booking is available for upgrade (see Print Screen)
And within Event Booking it shows 3.5.0 as current version, but recommends to upgrade to 3.5.0

Using Ticket Types seems to disable use of the Cart function, is that expected behaviour? I can no longer add more than one event to a basket, I have to register for each specific event one at a time?

Yes. If you use Ticket Types, you will need to disable shopping cart. Ticket Types only works with Individual Registration

Is it possible to set the Ticket Types to Unlimited or add an option in the next Minor Release to support this function?

my sincere appreciation for these updates, especially the server-side validations! This was a long awaited new feature and the fact that you worked on it and made it possible, is awesome.

I just pushed the german translation for GDPR.

If the Privacy policy article has no menu item you get a 404 if you click on the link in frontend.
