Hello eShop Team

1. Template Queries:
I have a RocketTheme template currently on my live site. As you probably know, they closed rather suddenly last year, and the templates are no longer supported. When we updated from J4 to J5 last year, there were some errors that required a more experienced developer to fix for me. I am thus wary of updating to the latest version of eShop, in case I crash my site.
I have been looking at J5-6-compatible templates and purchased an RSJoomla one last Black Friday, with the intention of getting it up and running this year. However, I am also looking at yours before I start anything.

I believed the Kilix template would suit my site best because I have many informational articles, and I also want to utilise your other Events and Membership components. My developer friend suggested I look at the Fashion Pro one, but I am worried it mainly focuses on the eShop rather than the other features. On the Kilix demo typography page, I noticed that the links-as-buttons aren’t displaying, so I wondered whether the template has an issue. Nevertheless, could you please advise which is the best option with the latest eShop version, or do you think the RSJoomla (J4, 5, or 6 compatible) I had already purchased could work just as well?

2. PayGate Payment Plugin
A few years ago, Giang developed a custom Paygate (Payweb v3) payment plugin for me and assisted with some minor issues along the way. About two years ago, I encountered problems with orders not emailing after payment, customers not receiving a payment confirmation (receiving a CHECKSUM error), and a payment error message appearing on return to the site.A local developer investigated the issue, and the problem temporarily improved after adjusting the PHP configuration to change the cookie session storage. However, we still face problems with many orders. I have tried to improve the customer experience by modifying the text in the error message they receive, but it remains less than ideal for them. I don't think they receive a confirmation email and a copy of their order.I therefore also have concerns that this custom plugin might not function with the eShop upgrade and would appreciate your suggestions.

Many thanks
Alison
