Wrong upload image orientation was created by Antreas Dimitriou
Dear support team,
I am using the joomla 3.4 and eshop 1.3.5
When i upload a portrait image to a product, it automatically turns it to landscape. Can you please let me know how to fix this as all my images so far were on portrait orientation.
Regards,
-Antreas

Hi Andreas,
Are you 100% sure your original images are not wrongly rotated themselfs?
Are any other images (not your own, just downloaded from internet) rotated as well after uploading to Eshop?
I've uploaded hundreds of images to Eshop and never ended up with unexpected rotated images.
Just curious.
Best regards, Burt

Hello Antreas,
1. Please make sure that your image is good rotated with good quality.
2. Please go to EShop -> System -> Configuration -> Images tab to enter the different size for images that you want to have that. They should have the same rotate with the original image to have the best quality after resize.
Sincerely, Giang

I'm having the same problem with this. All of my images should be portrait but it is turning them all landscape. If I resave the image in photoshop to a new file and upload it then it will keep it as portrait. All of my settings for the images have portrait dimensions but it is still turning all the original photos taken directly off of a camera. I have tried multiple images from multiple different cameras too with the same results. Any ideas or any did the original poster find any resolution?

Did we ever find a resolution to this? I'm having the same issue. Images are portrait, but all are getting rotated to landscape.

Hello Jonathan,
Please go to the back-end of your site, then go to EShop -> System -> Configuration -> Images tab to change the image size to meet the ratio of your images.
It should work properly then.

I actually did not have any luck with the Image size settings fixing this problem. It still made it horizontal no matter how I had the numbers set. The fastest workaround that I could find was to open each photo in the Windows "Photos" and rotate it all the way around, then try the upload again. That seemed to resave it properly and upload it without it rotating the wrong way in the eshop.
