How can I change the Order ID in EShop? It starts at 1, but I want to specify the starting number (example 100011).
Thanks

Hello Mit,
Order ID is auto increase field and you can not control it. You can only change starting number of Invoice Number. Can you let me know why do you need to change starting number of Order ID?
Sincerely, Giang

Actually I need to change the number the customer sees when they place an order so perhaps it's the invoice number.

Hi Mit,
Then let's go to EShop->System->Configuration->Invoice tab to see options of invoice there.
Sincerely, Giang

As shown in the attached screen shot, I made the changes on the Invoice tab. However, when I place an order, the new invoice/order number is not shown. In other words, I placed 4 orders after making the changes in the Invoice tab and the current invoice/order number is 4 (and not 6583 as I would expect)

The screen shot is attached. The corresponding number on the .pdf invoice is INV201500008, and Order ID: 8

I re-installed EShop and the correct invoice number is reflected, so that issue is resolved.
Lets say I made changes in configuration so first invoice number begins at 5475:
- Invoice # INV201505475
- Order ID: 1
- I would like Order ID that customer sees to be 201505475
I would like the Order ID that the customer sees on the .pdf invoice, order history, or anywhere else, to be the invoice number that is generated. The actual Order ID in the database would stay as is (beginning at 1) but would not be visible to the customer. What is the best way to accomplish this?

Hello Mit,
I understand the way that you want now. I think we should hide Order ID. Please submit a new ticket to send me the site information so I can help you to hide order ID, we don't need to show it to customer.
Sincerely, Giang

I have the same issue.
I dont want my customers to know that the order number is so low. It should be easy to change the starting number of this. Hiding it is not a good solution as there should still be an order number per sell as this is needed for book keeping records, but the starting number should be changable
