path to Amazon S3 storage was created by Peter Bibb
Please can you tell me the path that should be put into the Documents Path? I think it should be
s3.console.aws.amazon.com/s3/object/
sevenoakssocietyarchive?region=eu-west-w but I'm getting Documents Path is not writable.
Thanks
Peter

Hi Peter,
You don't need to enter the path in configure option: Document root path, because Edocman will use the parameters in Edocman Amazon S3 plugin to retrieve documents
Thanks

The documentation is not clear...
I have created a bucket called sevenoakssocietyarchive, and created a folder called /Archive within it. The tool tip on the plugin for Bucket Name says: "Please enter root folder, it will be the sub folder of bucket name". What does that mean I put in this field?
BTW I have emptied out the Path parameter in the Configuration.
Many thanks
Peter

Hi Peter,
In plugin parameters form, you just need to enter the root folder name (on Amazon storage) that will be used to store physical documents of Edocman
Thanks

Please please please be precise in your language!
The EDocman - Amazon S3 plugin says Bucket Name.
The Tooltip says Enter the Root Folder - it will be the sub folder of the Bucket Name.
Your last message says its a folder on your S3 storage. Is this the Bucket Name????
I have a Bucket called sevenoakssocietyarchive, and a folder within that bucket called Archive.
I get the following error:
Save failed with the following error: Invalid handle provided
whether I have sevenoakssocietyarchive, sevenoakssocietysrchive/Archive or just Archive in the Bucket Name parameter.
Thank you
Peter

Hi Peter,
The Amazon S3 library doesn't work with PHP8, could you please downgrade it to 7.x?
Thanks
