Hallo Administrator, how can i test the migrator component? I have approximately 2000 Docman document divided in 15 categores/subcategories. For me is also important then in migation process the component not change the creation date of the documents. My final newsite is in joomla 3.x. I can start the migration process from joomla 1.0 or joomla 1.5 or joomla 2.5, as is better for the migration software. Thank's for your reply!. Domenico from Italy

Create a backup site and test it on there.
I migrated about 1000 documents without a hitch and the original create date was maintained.
The migrator was sweet for me.
Good Luck.

Please, what version of your Joomla and DocMan component did you use when you migrated.
Well, I did the test 3 times and gave an error, only the main categories come correctly, since the child categories of up to 3 levels I can not migrate.
Att,
Garcia

Hi Dang Thuc
Good afternoon, I sent the access data and the site link that I'm trying.
I tried again to transfer and the migration component transferred, more in the categories that exist example:
LEGISLATION:
MUNICIPAL LAW:
YEAR 2017.
the categories come in all kinds of order and do not come correctly within their main categories.
Please, I really need your help!

Hi,
Is this add-on still good to use? I have downloaded com_docman2edocman.zip from a link found in this useful thread and just want to check it is the latest version. Also I am assuming using the tool copies (not moves) data across to the new edocman installation so the old installation is left in tact. Is that correct?
Many thanks for your work supporting this edocman forum.
Danimeeka.
