Hi Stefan,
Sorry for late response, we can change the time by following below steps
1. Open file:
root -> plugins -> edocmanimport -> edocmanimport.php
2. Find:
$cacheTime = 3600;
and change to
$cacheTime = 900;
Good luck
Dam

Thank you Mr. Dam!
A little correction: The file "edocmanimport.php" is here:
root -> plugins -> system --> edocmanimport -> edocmanimport.php

ok so I installed the most recent version, everything is enabled, adjusted the timer from 3600 to 600 (10 mins) and nothing ever happens.
I have uploaded multiple folders, each with sub folders and files within, and at no point has it ever auto included these into the system

I am unable to get the auto import plugin to work. I load documents into a category folder on the server, wait several hours, nothing happens.
When I use the Bulk Import Options from the backend, I consistently get the error:
1054 Unknown column 'filename' in 'where clause'
Sometimes it will import a single document but throws this error if trying to bulk import more than one document.
Joomla = 3.9.24
PHP = 7.3.26
Database = 5.7.32-35
Hosted at Siteground
Any help would be appreciated.
