I'm working on my client site using OS PDF indexer with Jdownloads
The links in the indexed pdf files points to file downloads overriding Jdwonloads permissions
How to restrict the downloads without overriding Jdwonloads access permissions for files
The website in the question is -
1300lawgroup.com.au/index.php?searchword...23&option=com_search
Please advise
Thanks

Sorry. At the moment, the extension doesn't integrate with JDownloads permission. Maybe you should ask your customer switching from JDownloads into EDocman. EDocman has a indexer plugin comes with it by default and has a very well permission system.
Since you purchased the indexer extension before, I will provide your client discount if he decides to switch to EDocman.

Our order system doesn't have coupon code feature at the moment. You can ask your customer to send 10$ to paypal@ext4joomla.com and we will send the extension to you (we provide 15$ discount).

Thanks for the discount, I have installed and configured EDocman component and EDOCman search plugin.
But documents are not indexing by the terms in the pdf files.
Indexer plugin works with Edocman search module also..? We do not have to use OS PDF indexer component anymore..right?
Would you mind to take a look, website is..

There is no upload menu item. Users will be able to see the upload link when they access to the category which they have upload permission. Could you please try ?

Regarding the index function, you don't need OS PDF Indexer anymore. You just need to use built-in indexer plugin come with EDocman. However, we might need to check permission of some files. Could you please submit a support ticket sending us administrator and FTP account of your site so that we can check it for you ?
