It seems there is wrong setting in the file path of documents and it causes the error. Could you please submit a support ticket giving me administrator and FTP account of your site so that I can check and fix it for you ?

It seems this issue is not solved with 1.0.5 version while submiting document on the front office.
Submitting thru backoffice has no problem.
If you look at the database, the field "original_filename" the entry is set to NULL.
Also into the filename field, the category is added while submiting with backend, but not on frontend !!
Thanks for your help.

Yes, that was a bug and I fixed it few days ago (only happens for front-end upload when you each category store their files in it's own folder). The file was modified is components/com_edocman/models/document.php, look at it and you will see the modified code .

But we are using 1.0.5 version already, I've downloaded it yesterday, still 1.0.5, so we still have this bug submitting in front end.
Do I badly understand what you are saying ?

I'm going to replace the package for our developement for Jifile as document.php is impacted.
Please stay up to date with your versionning, for component, plugins, modules, if not , we will have lots of troubles with our modifications...(that you may integrate freely without any problems...)
Thanks !
