Credit card gets charge but no download link

Hello

Whats wrong with my site? T'was working yesterday and now im getting a lot of support calls.

Issue: when a customer buys online and gets charge, they only get a charge notification from paypal and NO other link or email are received after. Im getting irate customers.



What do I do? I sell music and files are from 5mb to 150mb but only links should be mailed to them.

Even I can not see it in the Orders Management Menu.
I only receive the email from Paypal with the transaction

The PDF settings was not attached. Could you please re-upload it. Basically, since your files are big, could you please go to Documents Seller -> Configuration, find the two config options below and make sure you set them to the correct value:

- Send Documents via email: Please make sure you set it to No
- Send Downloads link via email: Please make sure you set it to Yes

After that, please check it again and let me know the result

I did all what you said, but it did not solve the problem.
The customers don't receive the email, and the order is not registered in the Orders Management window. I notice that the free downloads are in the Orders Management window.
The problem is only with the documents for which the customers pay.

Hi. Was this issue resolved? I'm having the same problem. The customer buys a document, pays with paypal but then the e-mail with the download link doesn't arrive. I've tested it myself and there's no e-mail anywhere even thought the system has the e-mail column checked in the orders tab.

I was about to buy Documents Seller, but after reading these posts I'm questioning my decision.

Has this been fixed?

It is not a bug in the extension. Sometime, issue like this happens and there are several reasons for it:

1. IPN is disabled in the Paypal account for some reasons. In this case, need to config Paypal account to enable Paypal IPN

2. The site is offline (in this case, we need to make the site online)

3. The site is on a local computer. In this case, we need to have it uploaded to a server.

As you know, we are using Documents Seller (with a customized layout) on our website to sell extensions, so it works well.

I was reading about the problem with ITN from PayPal.
This is caused by a firewall issue.
The ,htaccess file needs the code that exclude the directories of DS where PayPal change the status of the order.
Do you have that code?

I don't have that code. But if htaccess block it, the component won't work. What code you are talking about? Who tells you about the firewall software , your hosting provider ?

Did you look at the Paypal IPN messages ? What are the status of the messages ?
