Sorry I must be doing something wrong, I have turned up the images to 800 x400 and higher but the thumbnails seem to be stuck at a max of 400 wide

I must still be doing something wrong, I have been through that template and I can not see where to make the thumbnail space larger

I tried editing the style.css only to fail! Any help would be appreciated (and yes I updated it)
at first I tried editing default.php but didnt get anywhere either and me and my partner spent an hour on it
