How to add the search box to another template

Hi,
I was using the OS Property realestate template but now changed it for another one. I am trying to get the searchbox to sit within the slideshow as it did in the os property template, however it doesn't display.

Do I need to add some kind of custom css to get it to work?

In fact, the Quicksearch module was designed to work with OSP Real Estate only. It won't work on other template.
