Events Booking custom fields for events was created by GillianS
For Events Booking, which I am looking at for the display of, but not booking of, concerts and workshops presented by various organisations. Please advise whether it is possible to:
Thank you.
- Add custom fields for events details (i.e. not registrant's details), e.g. a URL for an event's website or booking site (most use TicketSource rather than taking money themselves) or YouTube link.
- Integrate Joomla custom fields and Tassos' Advanced Custom Fields
- Add multiple price options, adult price, young person's price, carer's price (free)
- Hide unused fields in the front-end event set-up to avoid confusion, e.g. fees, registration
- Hide unrequired buttons from visitors, e.g. 'Register' or change the name and use of the button to 'Book now' with a link to an external URL
Thank you.

Hi GillianS
1. Yes, you can use event custom fields docs.joomdonation.com/eventsbooking/basi.../event-custom-fields
2. This is unfortunately not supported
3. As you do not handle booking on your site, aren't you can just add custom fields to show this price data? If so, it is supported (same as #1)
4. Yes. There is config options to allow you to turn off the fields you don't need
5. Yes, it is supported
Regards,
Tuan

Thank you. A couple more questions:
1. If I created a url field, using (based on the docs configuration image)
<config>
<fields name="params">
<fieldset name="basic">
<field name="url" type="url" label="Event link" size="100" description"" class="event-link"></field>
</fieldset>
</fields>
</config>
would that render as a live link on the front end when a full URL is entered into the field?
2. Is it possible to change the grid layout from two columns to three for widescreen view, i.e. col-md-4 instead of col-md-6?
Thanks.

Hi
1. Yes
2. Actually, the number of columns in grid layout is configurable. So you can show events in 2 or 3 columns, depends on how you want

Tuan

Thank you, again. Sorry, but I have another question:
What level of user is required to be the one to approve events before they are published made public? Does it have to be someone who has access to the back-end of Joomla!? I'm using J5.

Hello
It's controlled by permission settings in Events Booking. You need to give that user group Configure ACL & Options permission
You can also gives the user group Edit State permission and he will be allowed to publish/unpublish his own events
