Membership Pro - Can this be achieved?

Hey there.
I am interested in Membership Pro and I have read all of the data sheets for it and it seems like it could be the right tool for me. Before I purchase it, ,I would like to describe how I intend to use it and am looking for some suggestions on how I would configure it to achieve the following results.

Scenario 1.
I will be selling memberships to my website online via Membership Pro. When someone purchases a membership, I do not want them to have immediate access to the restricted pages. This is because I am physically mailing a letter and a membership card (with their membership # on it) to their shipping address they provide at checkout. Once they receive the membership package and membership card (with their membership # on it) in the mail, I will be instructing them to come back to my website and "activate" their membership by filling out the registration form with their contact info and also include their membership number on the front of the card that I mailed to them. They would then have immediate access to the restricted pages.
Is this possible to configure Membership Pro to do this, or something similar to this? I could be convinced to go about it another way but want some input on how to best achieve something close to this. What I absolutely do not want, is for someone to have to register to be a user, then have to go through the process of purchasing a membership. I just want them to click a buy now, have it go right to paypal and allow them to check out as a guest as quickly and as easily as possible.

Scenario 2.
Same as above in principal, but I am also selling memberships in retail stores. What they are purchasing in retail stores is the membership card with a membership number on it. On the back of the card will be instructions on how to go to my website and activate their membership and I can collect their registration info at that time. They would then have immediate access to the restricted pages.

Please, anyone with any insight on if any of this is even possible with Membership Pro, suggestions, reference materials etc, I would greatly appreciate it! Cheers.

I am sorry but this requirement could not be done with Membership Pro. You will need to find a different extension or find someone to customize it for you.

I am open to other ways of doing this so can you tell me if something like this could work?

Question 1. The customer purchases a membership from my website via Membership Pro. Upon purchasing it, I do not allow access to any restricted pages until I, (Admin) go into the back end and grant the access to the restricted pages that they have purchased the membership for. At this time that I grant the permissions / authorize their account, I need to be able to add a value for their "Membership Number" field. Can it be configured to ask them for their username, password AND membership number (3 fields) total when logging in?

Question 2. Can it be configured to be able to purchase a membership without requiring the user to set up an account first? 9 times out of 10, someone will be purchasing a membership to my site as a gift for someone else.

Your input and alternative suggestions on how I may be able to accomplish any of this would be appreciated.

Hi Ryan

1 => This will require some modification to the extension. By default, the extension will allows users to access to restricted resources right after they completed payment. There is no restrictions at all after subscribers completed his Paymenet.

=> Yes. The extension allows you to config it so that users won't have to register before/when purchasing Membership.
