We are wanting to make a solution for finding technical documents. Edocman is looking like a good solution but we have a question on searching the documents.
We want to be able to search the documents by tags associated with the documents... BUT we want to be able to enter generic "model numbers" as tags... i.e. the models will incomplete in the tags as one document may pertain to many different models.
We want to be able to type in a complete model when searching (i.e. 123456789) and have it search the tags and pull up a document that may have a tag that begins the same, but does not have the entire string necessarily. (i.e. 123456)
Is there a way to enter wildcards in the tags associated with documents (like 123456%) that would pull up on any search that began with 123456? I think this may be the best way to control searches if wildcards could be entered in the tags.
