Amount field validation

Amount field have setings:
Field Type - text
Datatype Validation - number
Validation Rules - validate[required,custom[number]]
The problem is with decimal point. If I enter , (comma) I get Invalid floating decimal number error. It is ok with dot.
Ideal would be if I enter comma OR dot.

In configuration I have set Decimal Point - , (comma) and Thousands Separator dot. As EU standard. 
 

I think that field type number solved the problem.

Yes. For entering amount, basically a number, better use Number field type

OK, now I have problem with validation.
If I left one of the required field empty and click process peyment, cursor and fokus is on amount field not the missing field.
If I enter ONLY amount and click process, no validation error is visible on any field...only cursor and fokus is back to amount field.

Ok, again it seems that with Datatype Validation integer number is working.
