Today, I released Payment Form version 6.5.3. Below are the changes:
1. PHP 8.1 Compatible
This is main focus of this release. We updated code of the extension to make sure it is working well with latest PHP version 8.1.x (8.1.4 at the moment). So if you plan to use PHP 8.1 for your website in the future, Payment Form is ready.
2. Fixed Routing Error On PHP 8
In some special conditions (no menu item created to link to Payment Form, and use Payment Form content plugin to display Form in an article (or use Payment Form to display Form in a module), there could be fatal error on PHP 8 due to a bugs in Joomla core routing. We updated code in the extension to handle this special case to make sure the extension still work well for these case
Please update your site to this latest version of the extension to have most stable version running on your website and most important, have it works with PHP 8.1 out of the box whenever your site is updated to use that PHP version.
