Today, I am happy to announce the next release of Payment Form, version 6.4.0. Below are the improvements:
1. Compatible with PHP 8 and Joomla 4.0 RC3
- Added support for Twitter Bootstrap 5 so that it is working well with Joomla 4
- We worked on the extension and make sure it is working well with Joomla 4.0 which will be released in near future. The extension is also compatible with PHP 8, too
2. Updated to latest version of TCPDF
We also updated TCPDF library (which is used to generate invoice PDF in the extension) to latest version. That helps making sure the extension works well with PHP 8
3. Modernize codebase
We put some effort into this release to convert the code to use all namespace classes from Joomla API. That would result in better code, a bit performance improvement and make sure it is working well with future releases of Joomla
